Ugly Christmas Sweaters.
Who doesn’t love a good ugly Christmas Sweater? Today my roommate was invited to an ugly Christmas sweater party! Finding the right sweater wasn’t hard, with Goodwill and Walmart providing us with some cheap ugly @$$ sweaters. A total of $15 for both sweaters is what we spent, which is a great deal! We put on some red lipstick, did our hair, and were wereon our way. Once we got there, ugly sweaters filled the room! It was beautiful. I don’t think I have ever seen so much ugly clothing in one room at one time.
Which made me think, who the hell came up with this idea? I Googled it, because Google is life, and discovered that In the United Kingdom, ugly Christmas sweaters became popular during the 1980s after a variety of television presenters began wearing them during the Christmas holidays and well it just kind of took off from there! Funny right?
Well, I say thank you to them, because this past time is not a holiday favorite of mine. If you ever get invited to one, take my advice, YOU MUST GO!
