Max Schneider, also known as MAX, is an actor and singer who is originally from New York. Schneider was raised in Woodstock, New York to be exact, and began performing at the young age of three. As MAX grew up, he took part in many different roles, including being a swing understudy in the musical 13 and model with the one and only Madonna for an international Dolce And Gabbana campaign.
Yesterday, I got to meet MAX at work; which was an awesome treat after a long day. This was the first time I had ever met an artist in the studio, so I was very excited. I had heard of MAX before, and am a big fan of his single. MAX’s single entitled, “Gibberish,” features Hoodie Allen on the track, and it has a great dance beat! The song got over 3 MILLION VIEWS in only 6 days on YouTube; which is FREAKING AMAZING! MAX started getting a lot of attention by singing covers on his YouTube channel.
MAX did an acoustic performance for some fans yesterday at the office; which showcased MAX’s vocal skills. Watching him perform in a very intimate setting allowed me and many of my fans to witness his raw talent. The girls were going crazy. To be honest, he may be the new Justin Bieber for the younger female generation. Seriously, there were about a hundred anxiously waiting girls and guys outside our studio’s building yesterday waiting to see him play. I don’t even think we were supposed to have a viewing of him, to be honest, but somehow we did. I think Twitter gave away that we were having him at the station. OPPS!
MAX played his single, along with his song “Mugshot” and a cover of Michael Jackson’s hit “Billy Jean” followed by a quick Q&A with the many fans! The girls and guys then all lined up afterward to take ‘selfies’ with the two artists; which is why I made sure I got one before! No offense, but after working an eight-hour shift, standing in a line is not my ideal activity of choice.
As MAX was recording some content in the studio, I got a chance to speak with him and his guitar playing. The guitar player made a joke asking if anyone who worked for the station was actually from the state since our employees are a cluster from all across the U.S. MAX’s manager was telling me how he was opening up for Fall Out Boy this weekend, which I replied with a face of amazement. I guess I’m still in that phase of being ‘star-struck,’ but I’ve only been working in the industry for a month now: therefore I find it acceptable. They were both extremely nice, though, and certainly talented.
Be sure to check out MAX & follow him on his rise to fame!
With Love,
Lex Paige
