  • Sell Your Clothes Online

Thanks to good old technology and smartphone applications, selling your clothes online is now a thing. This is probably one of my preferred ways to make some extra cash and I have been actively doing it for around five years now. All you have to do is download your application of choice, pick any items in good condition from your closet, take a few pictures, and list them for sale. Previously I had accounts with Poshmark and ThredUP, two amazing online sell-back stores, however, I decided to just turn my focus to one application because I was losing focus. I now only have one account with Vinted where I sell clothing and accessories I no longer need. This application is my personal favorite because it is easy and effective. Over the two years, I have had the account, I have made probably around $350 in extra cash, just by simply posting photos of my items with detailed descriptions, waiting for a buyer then shipping them away.

  • Blogging

As you may have guessed, I am a blogger. (Ha) With my website and blogging, I write weekly articles on different areas of expertise and I am associated with various affiliate links. Every month, if you blog great content and pair yourself with trustworthy partnerships you can boost your income radically. See Bluehost HERE for more info.

  • Sell Your Clothes to Second Hand Thrift Shops

Plato’s Closet, Uptown Cheapskates, and local thrift retailers are all perfect places to get yourself some extra cash. These types of stores buy back your gently used unwanted clothing, providing you with cash depending on the value and style of your items. Now, don’t get too excited, because stores like this with such a high influx of users don’t always buy back everything you offer them. So in that case, make sure your items are of good quality and you will get paid a decent amount upfront for your items.
