Let’s travel the world to Berlin, that is, with Nomas Cosmetics!
If you are new to Nomad Cosmetics, let me quickly fill you in on the brand. Created by a husband-and-wife team in 2015, Nomad Cosmetics is influenced by three core ideas: exploration for beauty, passion for experiences, and desire for authenticity. From traveling around the world, we have learned that amazing beauty is found everywhere. Inspired by this, we created Nomad Cosmetics to capture and highlight the beauty and local character of different destinations we love. (Click HERE to read my 1st review)
I received the Nomad Berlin Underground Palette. This palette contains; 15 different eyeshadows including colors like “Poor But Sexy,” “NDW,” and “Kreuzberg” to name a few of my personal favorites. It also includes a mirror in this palette. Which most palettes these days don’t usually have. These shadows are infused with Hemp Seed Oil to help energize and nourish your skin and all these alternative shades are inspired by the rebellious underground culture of Berlin before and after The Wall. You can find the whole list of shades and their descriptions below!

The Lex Paige Reaction
This palette perfect is for the cool months ahead, this Berlin-inspired eyeshadow palette from Nomad Cosmetics has vibrant colors that blend beautifully. The colors are super pigmented (Which I LOVE) and when I used the shadows, I found they were not chalky at all and the shimmers added to my look. For my first eye combination, I wanted a subtle look combining Chaostage with Deutschpunk. These colors together were not overpowering to my look and helped bring out the color of my eyes.
For my second test, I wanted to utilize the shadows and create a dramatic look. I used Hansa as my base and then blended Klubnacht and Chaostage on the corners of my eye. Then to brighten up the inner eyelid, I went over lightly with Kreuzberg, which made my eyes pop. Then with a little eyeliner creating a cat wing and of course some mascara, my look was complete! I even went a little farther and more adventurous and used the Chaostage on my lips with a clear balm to show how versatile these shadows can be. You can see with my painted hand as well, how beautiful these shadows blend. (Plus it added to my dramatic look)
With my two different looks, you can see how versatile this palette is. The eyeshadows weren’t overbearing as some pigments could be and gave my eyes the perfect pop they needed. One of my other favorite things about this palette is the skull detailing. It adds to the palette’s uniqueness.
This company is one-of-a-kind and its products are high-quality, free of parabens, phthalates, mineral oil, and PETA-certified cruelty-free, and vegan. This palette sells for $37 and is 100% worth it! I would recommend this company to all you makeup lovers out there and if not for yourself, it makes a great gift too!
