Stay Eco-Friendly With Three DIY Ways to Celebrate Earth Day

Happy Earth Day my fellow humans. On April 22nd we celebrate Mother Earth and help raise awareness on ways to protect the planet we call home. So in the spirit of Earth Day, I wanted to share three DIY ways to give back to our environment. Be sure to check out more of my healthy and organic blogs by clicking here.

Create a DIY Bird Feeder

All you need is some o-shaped cereal, some string or pipe cleaner and you have a simple bird feeder. Just string along the O-shaped cereal and place it outside. The birds will come and maybe even consider your home their new one!

Plant Your Food

It’s fun and healthy and the Earth will thank you! Head to your local gardening or home store and buy some seeds like tomatoes or herbs to grow on your own. It’s a great feeling knowing you can eat your organic food with healthy ingredients.

Make A Recycled Wind Chime

This is my favorite. You can make a recycled wind chime in so many different ways. Simply by gathering five or six sticks, falling flowers, bottle caps, leaves, or other small pieces, you can create a beautiful wind chime. I found a cool recycled wind chime from Hand On As We Grow here!

Happy Earth Day and remember to be kind to our planet. It’s the only one we’ve got.

With Love,

Lex Paige
