Submerge Yourself in Country Living at Cowboy’s Lodge & Grill (Gardiner, Montana)

Under a recently changed ownership, the Cowboy’s Lodge and Grill is located in Gardiner, Montana (North entrance of Yellowstone National Park), and is the perfect stay for anyone looking to enjoy a true country atmosphere. Whether you are just stopping for a meal or want to experience the full stay, my vacation to the West was even more memorable adding the Coyboy’s Lodge and Grill to my agenda. In a perfectly rustic and Western setting, we were given the Stage Coach Suite for our one-night stay.

The whole room was decorated to the nines with rustic furnishings, a kitchenette, and my favorite animal skin rug. We were only staying one night, but this room would be ideal for anyone looking for a few days or even a week. One thing I will note, in the morning we could hear our neighbors through the walls. It was noisy, however, this wasn’t the lodge’s fault. There was a lot of space in our room and I loved how there was a bistro set outside our room. We sat outside and enjoyed some drinks that night looking at the stars. You can check out some photos of our room below.

For dinner, we ate at the Cowboy’s Lodge Grill. You can’t miss it from the road with a cool early 1950s vintage Chrysler parked out front. We had the best Mac N’ Cheese with jalapeños and bacon as our appetizer that was cooked in a cast-iron skillet. It was delicious and the perfect way to start our meal. For my dinner, I got the BBQ Pork sliders with bacon and cheese. My significant other got Bison Burger. We ate EVERYTHING! One thing I wish we got but we were both driving later that day, the Cowboy Cooler in a Cowboy Boot. Essentially, it is a giant glass cowboy boot filled with wine! You can check out some photos of our meal below. Bonus: If you pay in cash, you get a free dessert!

Overall, the staff was friendly, the restaurant was clean, the cost was affordable and of course, the food was fantastic. I would 100% recommend staying and dining at the Cowboy’s Lodge and Grill if you are traveling to the area. You can book your stay by clicking here.

With Love,
