Make Staying at Home Fun with Gramma in a Box: May Unboxing Review

Get out of that quarantine funk people, it’s time for a fun, at-home activity with Gramma in a Box! I have worked with Gramma in a Box over three times now and I love the magic of making crafts and sweets at home. Now for the fourth time around, Grandma Terry, the creator of Gramma in a Box, was generous and sent May’s box for me to review for all of you.

What is Gramma in a Box?

If you love subscription boxes filled with love and the feeling of home, then this box is for you. Especially with everything going on right now, we all need a fun, feel-good craft box to enjoy with our loved ones and this box is just that. Each Gramma in a Box is curated with a fun theme that little ones will love and even the adults who want a special activity to do with grandma when she comes into town. Gramma in a Box is a box filled with fun and the comforts of grandma’s sweet treats. Monthly, you will receive a box filled with instructions, tools, and almost everything you need to make and decorate cookies and candy treats.

This time around, the May Gramma in a Box was themed around Spring with Butterflies and Blossoms; filled with cookies and candy sweets. You can see all the items I received in the box below.

Every month, three projects are included in the box. For May Gramma in a Box included the fun activities of making some adorable Butterfly Chocolate Covered Pretzels, Marshmello Flower Pops, and Spring Cookies. Each included an instruction card that had step-by-step instructions and ingredients.

To help me make my treats, my friend Andrea assisted me in creating all these fun creations. My personal favorite was making the Marshmellow Flower Pops. I bunched them up in a tasty bouquet which you can admire below. They were quite yummy and all the projects were easy to do. Andrea’s favorite was the butterfly pretzels.

You can see our fabulous work below, but I will note our creations sadly did not include the blue sprinkles because they exploded in the box. However, I always keep in mind that we are all human and no one is perfect, and despite these little mishaps, all three projects worked out just fine. (We didn’t melt the chocolate this time!)

I love every time I receive a box from Terry because it is simply fun. Gramma in a Box brings me back to my childhood and this is a great box for adults and children, especially during our quarantine time. If you are interested in purchasing your own Gramma in a Box, you can order the June Box by clicking here. (BTW you can check out my first review here, my second review, and the third review.) With Love,
