Yummy Home Fun with Gramma in a Box: June Unboxing Review

Hey kids and adults, it’s time to start having more fun at home with Gramma in a Box! You know her, you love her, and she’s one of the coolest grandmas in town. Who am I talking about? It’s Grandma Terry and her amazing subscription box, Gramma in a Box, and I am back with another amazing craft project for June. Thanks to Gramma in a Box, I was sent a complimentary box to share with all of you.

What is Gramma in a Box?

If you love subscription boxes filled with love and the feeling of home, then this box is for you. Each Gramma in a Box is curated with a fun theme that little ones will love and even the adults who want a special activity to do with grandma when she comes into town. Gramma in a Box is a box filled with fun and the comforts of grandma’s sweet treats. Monthly, you will receive a box filled with instructions, tools, and almost everything you need to make and decorate cookies and candy treats.

For the June 2020 box, the theme was Emoji and Minion Treats. The projects included Emoji Pops, Crispy Minion Bites, and Emoji Minion Cookies. Everything is included in the box, including sprinkles and icing which you can save if you have some leftovers.

These candy crafts were lots of fun. One of my best friends Andrea and I enjoyed ourselves making all three projects and expressing our creativity. We had our little station set up and went one by one making each of the heartfelt projects. One of the great things about this subscription box is that Terry includes two wax paper sheets so that your creation station is easy to set up.

My personal favorite was the Emoji and Minion Cookies. I loved how Gramma in a Box sent her yummy already made cookies that you get to decorate for fun. My second favorite was the Minon Bites made with chocolate, sprinkles, and Kix cereal. Finally, we made Minon Pops that were covered in yellow melting chocolate and candy pieces. You can see all our beautiful creations below. (Even Kitty got to hold a pop)

Andrea and I felt like children again. It was simple and wonderful fun making these creations together and we both figured out, we have very interesting imaginations. These crafts were very easy to make and even if you are an adult, you’ll find happiness in this box. I would 100% recommend getting Gramma in a Box as a gift for children under age ten or for your parents to do with your kids. I would have loved having these boxes ready to go for me to take to grandma when I was younger. (Less work for her, more quality time for us)
