Thanks to PopArtYou I was able to choose an 11×14 Canvas wrap to create for my anniversary gift. On the PopArtYou website, there are a ton of different couple options to choose from. I decided to go for the American Gothic Custom Canvas. A portrait for a single person usually starts from $49. For couples with two faces taken from photographs, the price starts at $78. If you are interested in a family portrait, pricing starts at $107. My portrait (which is currently on sale) was around $88. I decided to go with this print because I always found the classic painting by Grant Wood. Ethan and I are a wild and crazy couple, so this parody image I felt fits our personalities flawlessly.
With the ordering process, I uploaded the photo below to the PopArtYou website after picking my size and style. After two days I was emailed a design proof to look over before finalizing my portrait. This was very helpful because I could make adjustments if needed. The communication with the designers was useful and made the whole ordering process effortless.
After approving my print, my order arrived promptly. When we opened the print (to which I wish I would have filmed his reaction but Ethan hates the camera) he loved it. He thought it was incredibly well-done, comical, and should replace the original in the Chicago museum.
