Instagram Reels are my favorite feature. As with any type of content, Instagram Reels require dedication, creativity, and overall passion to succeed.
You can get more followers and engagement on Instagram by creating Instagram Reels for your brand or business. There are a few tricks I have learned for creating viral reels, but there is no guarantee an Instagram Reel will go viral. Here are some tips for how to make your Reels go viral if you’re having trouble getting more views.
1. Pick A Topic/Theme
Do You like Fashion? Then try it out! If you have a creative interest, direct your focus to things and see if it works.
2. Research is Key
Check out Instagram Reels for ideas on how to do a fashion video, cooking video, or ‘how-to video.’ In this way, you can see what is trending and what is doing well in your niche and other niches.
3. Try Some Filters
They are fun and help your post get more attention. Instagram has a section where filters are trending. Try to apply those.
4. Provide Value
We need to provide value to our content on social media because it is so fast-paced. Reels are a very effective way to learn. People save them for future reference because they are short and easily digestible. Are you sharing a new tip, trick, or food to enjoy? As your saves add up, Instagram sees your Reels as more valuable and keeps showing them to people who have similar interests.
5. Focus on Sounds
Choose an up-and-coming sound or a song that is trending. You will gain more views if you do this. Whenever you stumble upon sounds that you like, don’t forget to save them so you can find them later.
6. Add text if you can on any video
The algorithm on Instagram loves text added to videos. It helps readers understand what is going on in the video with the sound off. This will increase your viewer engagement.
7. Have an engaging cover photo.
This will show in your feed and is the first thing users on Instagram see. Make sure it is clear, visually appealing, and inviting.
8. Lighting is Life for Your Videos
I love natural light. If you are indoors, consider investing in a ring light. At this moment, I currently use my iPhone 11 to film my videos, however, I am in the process of getting a new iPhone for filming. A higher-quality phone will help the chances of your video going viral.
9. Post Reels to Your Feed on Instagram
If they don’t fit your overall look, you can always remove them later, but you’ll get more views if they’re on your feed at the outset. It’s best to leave them up for a week at least.
10. Consistency is Key!
Keep doing reels that people engage with each day. If you post every day then the odds of catching a view are higher for your video.
