Rules and Eligibility for Bonus Reels
By participating in the Reels Play Bonus program, you’ll earn money directly from Instagram. If you are offered this chance and approved, you’ll need to get started creating those amazing Reels before your eligibility expires. You then have 30 days to earn the bonus. During that period, you may choose as many reels as you’d like to count towards your bonus earnings.
How Do You Make Money from Reels on Instagram?
Reels is now offering a Bonus Program for the influencer to make some money while also creating and having fun. To receive a Reels Play Bonus payout from Instagram, you will be required to comply with the below Program Rules (as referenced in the Instagram Creator Incentive Terms), in addition to the Program Rules applicable to Bonuses on Instagram. You can only make a max of whatever is listed on your account. For example, it could say $1,000 for your plays in Reels during your timeframe.
Making money with your Reels is very easy. I might add, that it is also pretty fun. You can earn money based on the performance of your reel. So basically how well it does. The amount you earn per play may not always stay constant. For example, you may earn more per play as you’re getting started and less over time. By proceeding with this program, you agree to these Program Rules. One thing to note is that the Reels Play bonus program is currently not available in all languages. What NOT to Do!
With Reels, it is tempting to use audio that is trending. This is a good thing, but you don’t want to use audio that does not comply. Views on reels are not counted towards your bonus if profanity is used. Just like baseball, three strikes and you are out. You can get up to 2 reel violations. If you get a 3rd strike on your account, it will result in you being unable to earn money from any monetization tool for a minimum of 30 days. In addition, some other things to avoid if you want to get the most out of your bonus is not to forget to tag the bonus within 24 hours of creation and not use artificially boosted views.
