This date box was all about a night of painting. I am a very creative person but I have not painted in years. I was a little worried, because of my rusty skills. We started by setting up our space and getting ready to paint together. Everything we needed (except paper towels) was included in the box. The project we were going to accomplish was a Button Tree. This was a painting that we would each do separately and then put together once done.

The date night project took a little over an hour to complete. We put an animal show on the TV and I also made cookies for us to enjoy. We had a nice time because able to relax, be creative, and paint together. I plan on tying some strings to the back of our paintings and hanging them in our home. I also loved how I have all these awesome art supplies left over for another date night as well. You can see the painting process below.
