It’s hard for me to stick to a gym routine. Even though I have tried, I am not a gym person. So what can I do? It was this decision that led me to start trying out different workout classes with ClassPass in Charlotte.

ClassPass: Introducing

What is ClassPass, first and foremost? Charlotte, North Carolina, offers a wide variety of wellness, fitness, and beauty experiences through ClassPass. Exercise classes are like amusement parks. For each class you like, you can cash in your credits. Classes and appointments can be booked with credits. Booking credits vary based on the reservation type, location, popularity, and time. On the ClassPass homepage, you can see a list of studios that ClassPass partners with. In the top left corner, click “Explore Studios.”. Next, you can search by map, list, zip code, or activity. The list of partners and classes you can try can be found here.

Here are the Classes I Took

The first thing I tried was AIR Charlotte Aerial Fitness again. The last time I did this work was in 2018, so I started with the easy Flow Class. In a nutshell, AIR® is an aerial fitness training program that results in long, lean muscles in record time. You get a great workout with AIR® that makes you feel amazing.

Since I was rusty, I took the AIR® Foundation fitness class. During this 50-minute workout class, I learned the fundamentals of aerial fitness and the essentials of AIR®. My workout included good stretches and balance focus. I enjoyed it. In this class, we did some basic inversions and stretched our legs and arms a lot. It was similar to yoga but with silk instead of a mat. A nice resting pose was done inside the silk with some lavender oil at the end of class. I enjoyed it and it was a great way to get started on my fitness journey.

A Pole Body and Arts class was the second class I tried. Due to my lack of experience with the pole, I took an introductory class. There is a pole body in everybody, which makes this class a great one to start with if you want to try something new. You don’t need any experience to take pole dance fitness classes, and this class was a great way to dip your toes into the pole.ep your toes on the pole. During the class, I wore socks and you wore comfortable workout clothing. We had so much fun with the teacher, who took her time to teach us how to hold the pole, how to push and pull, and how to slide down the pole. In addition to being so much fun, this was also a great workout for my arms.

My ClassPass List Goals

To try out ClassPass even more, I paid only $59 for 28 credits. The best thing about ClassPass is that there is no studio commitment. That was the hardest part for me. As a result, I can work out whenever I want and on my schedule. Additionally, I don’t get bored because I can always change my workout routine. For the next few weeks, I plan to try another class at MoveStudio Charlotte, which I tried back in 2020, as well as add pilates, boxing, rowing, and a few dance classes to my weekly workout schedule. You can see my ClassPass progress and the different fitness classes I try out here.

With Love,

Lex Paige
